I had the idea to share some of my blog posts from the past from time to time. Let me start with something hilarious from the past. This happened in Germany on Facebook, people basically recorded themselves while drinking a beer in one go, and once they finished the beer, they nominated their friends to do the same. This idea went viral, and up to this day I am not sure if it was started by a stupid … Continue reading Blog Posts From The Past: The Stupid Viral Beer Drinking Campaign
Vivian Schiller, head of news at Twitter, mentioned during the Newspaper Association of America’s mediaXchange conference, that they work on methods to move the @replies to the background. Many see this app as a hot if not best alternative to WhatsApp. The app became popular over night here in Germany as said, since so many people in my circles said “Do you already have Threema installed on your phone?”. But … Continue reading Threema Is Going Viral In Germany After The WhatsApp Buyout By Facebook
This is somewhat interesting. Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19 billion and people show their protest at least in Germany here. You could say that WhatsApp was the messenger here in Germany, the one and only really popular messenger. But only … Continue reading What Are $19 Billions If Nobody Stays?

Viral success does mean that a particular type of content gets popular or in other words shared and liked much. There is lately a new trend on Facebook here in Germany, it´s like a competition, people record themselves while they drink a bottle or glass of beer in one go and then they nominate several of their friends to do it too.
