Street in Lübeck


Above you can see a small alley or street in the historic district of Lübeck. It’s the most interesting district in our city because there you can still find old construction styles. In other words, you find a lot of buildings with brick stone. First I wanted to upload the photo in color, but it was shot in JPG and the image contained overblown highlights so that I decided to convert it to black and white. Somewhere


Above is a photo that I shot somewhere in Lübeck during my hikes. I like the image because it’s somehow framed on a minimalist way. It’s just the beautiful green field in the foreground and a village or district in the background. It’s maybe the line that divides both that makes me like the image. The sky was almost plain blue, but I edited it on a way that you can see the clouds because the plain color was boring. Lübeck Train Station


I wanted to share a photo with you of the train station in Lübeck. But this is actually a photo that I didn’t take. My mother shot it with her smartphone and I really liked the image. I like the perspective from where it is shot. Since I do of course know the train station too, I think she shot it from the stairs. This photo is in my opinion a great example that it’s actually not bad to take photos with a phone. Experimental Harbor Photo


Above you can see an experimental photo I shot at the harbor area in Lübeck. It is sometimes interesting to try things out, and I think I wanted to use the reflection of the window. You see an old storehouse that is now used for festivities, and in the reflection of the window you see the harbor and Trave River.
