Hot Weather… Fresh Drinks… less Sugar!

I know, I know… I bitched about the hot summer a lot. But some fresh drinks are great to cool down. I now want to write about something, I changed in my alimentary habits. I am not a big fan of sugar-containing drinks anymore. I do think those industry drinks full of sugar are everything else but not healthy. On the other side I don´t really want to make rocket science when I get thirsty. There is a good compromise. Midsummer? I feel sick!

This will be rather a short status update and I do think there won´t be much blog posts next days maybe weeks. It´s midsummer here and it is horrible hot in north germany while I would not like to be in south germany now. The last days were horrible hot and even the sea is warm like water in the bathtub. Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgic

We visited a nostalgic palace in Schwerin, which means that the Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgic comes to the right time. The palace is build on an island surrounded by lakes. The palace is called “Schloss Schwerin” and it is a very beautiful place. The palace is build in 1845-57 by order of Friedrich Franz II as a residence for the grand dukes of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. I think the architecturally idea is called neo-renaissance style and remembers a little bit to the french style like the Chambord. Today Schloss Schwerin is a museum. Anywhere in the Inner-City of Lübeck

This is just another new photo of any street in the inner-city of Lübeck. I edited it a little bit with Android Pixlr-o-matic. The result is a little bit grungy. I do like the image anyhow. Bumblebee seeking Dust on a Flower

I had to visit to the authorities yesterday and I found this bumblebee on my way, seeking for dust on a flower. I noticed many of them but decided to go closer to take close-up shot of one of them.
