Autumn Barbecue

It’s fall and already quite cold here in Northern Germany. Anyway, we got the idea to make barbecue in our garden. It’s very nice if it’s cold but if you can warm up near the fire. Sadly I didn’t take photos of the food. We made buns and ate them with sausages and mustard. But I showed sausage buns already a couple of times on my blog, I guess. Cat In The Box

As I mentioned already, my cat Shyna loves cardboard boxes, however, I don’t think that there is any cat that doesn’t. I shot the snapshot above the day when I uploaded the photo of the other post that I linked here. The photo above was very overexposed with too much highlights and it was hard to fix it so that I decided to make it a little bit black and white, because this is one way to hide the problem. Beautiful Water Drop On A Leaf

My mother shot the image above and I do think that this is a very beautiful scene. I love water drops and they look so great if they are on a leaf. I love how the reflection and transparency of water interacts with a green leaf. I told my mother that this is a stunning image. She shot it with her phone and it still looks so good. Cat at work…

I had a big purchase some weeks ago and the products were delivered in a big cardboard box. Whenever there is a cardboard box, it won’t take much time and Shyna will be on the scene. It’s That Time Again, Chocolate Gingerbread!

It’s fall, and that is the time when they start to sell chocolate gingerbread again in German stores. Did I ever mention that I love chocolate gingerbread? After so much years blogging I am not sure if I did but I wouldn’t be surprised if I mentioned it anywhere on my blog. I am not really a big fan of sweets, in fact I would rather make me a salad than clutching at sweets, however, that really can change in the fall season. My Birthday Cakes 2014

Yesterday was my birthday and I became 33 years old. How time flies! I wouldn’t say that I am now in a midlife crisis but it definitely makes me thoughtful anyway.
