A Couple in Love

Charlie Is Very Photogenic

My mother has a cute dog, and it’s fun to take pictures with him. First of all because Charlie is very photogenic, and apart from that he loves attention and that’s what he always gets. Love Lock

I found a tower here on my hike through Bad Schwartau. I went up there and had a nice view, but then I found all the love locks attached to the railings. I never understood this trend, but as I have difficulties to find interesting photo subjects, the love locks at least made me press the shutter button. It was also a good small object to test my 50mm lens. I like to work with this lens, because it makes me more active as I can’t zoom with it. Bad Schwartau Landscape

Here is a random snapshot that I took during my hike through Bad Schwartau. The day was cold and it was quite foggy, but I removed the haze in Photoshop as it was too much. The sky looked boring even after decreasing haze, and I came up with the idea to add a gradual filter to make the sky look darker, as if there would be an upcoming storm or something. Horse Eye

Trying something different, I shot a close-up photo of a white horse as I wanted to focus on one of the eyes. I like how it turned out, you can see the eyelashes very well. This is rather an experimental photo, I really like to try things out. The photo was taken during my hike yesterday. I didn’t take a lot of photos as I find it difficult in this less colourful season, but sometimes I still spot interesting things on my way. I hope you like this experimental photo too. Tree Trunk Leaves

Here is a close-up shot of some leaves that are growing out of a tree trunk. I was hiking through the Riesebusch forest in Bad Schwartau yesterday, to see if I could find any interesting subjects in this rather grey season. I didn’t find a lot of things, but I liked the scene with the leaves that grow out of the trunk. The hike was still interesting, I did yet again meet interesting people.
