Yellow and Red


I thought I do a photo post about colors today. I decided to upload the picture because I like how the two colors work together. I shot the photo a while ago in my living room. I have a red curtain and in the middle, I hung up a yellow paper lantern. That’s me, the reflection…


Here is a photo that I shot a couple of days before Christmas in 2015. At that time I was in Reinfeld, a small town close to Lübeck. I was walking through the streets of this town and found a christmas tree ball on a fence post at someones front yard. I shot that photo with my 18-105mm kit lens but when I saw the picture on my computer, I noticed myself in the reflection and was unhappy about that. Three years later I like that picture. Beautiful Big Wheel


Here is another shot that I tried out yesterday. I saw the big wheel in one of the Christmas market areas and thought this would make a great photo. I didn’t want to have the Christmas market stands on the picture or any people, that means I looked for a good angle. I basically just wanted to have the dark sky and the colourful big wheel on the photo. I think I achieved that, and I like the angle. I shot the photo handheld at 1/30 second, f/4.8 and ISO 1600.
