Germany Eliminated in FIFA World Cup

Yesterday was a very important match, Germany versus South Korea, because we needed the points to make it in this group. I don’t know why but somehow I thought the match would be at 8 PM. Shortly before that time I checked Google and realized they played already. How stupid is this? I missed the game. But more funny was that Google showed the match result right away “2 – 0”. I didn’t trust my eyes. Really, I didn’t trust my eyes. Not only did I miss the game because I thought it would be later, no, Germany lost the … Continue reading Germany Eliminated in FIFA World Cup

Little League Photo Shooting

When all your friends and family members know that you are into photography, it sometimes happens that they ask you if you can shoot photos for them. That’s basically how I often got a chance to gain experience in portrait photography as well. As with everything, you have to learn it, by just doing it. When I go through my library, I see how my portraits got better and better, although there is probably still room to improve. I don’t own an external flash yet, but I think that could improve my portraits too in the future. To get back … Continue reading Little League Photo Shooting

Euro 2016: Germany vs. France 0:2

I actually thought that I would have a photo of a France flag, but when I went through my Lightroom library, I couldn’t find any. So, I am using a German flag for this post, a damaged German flag as it fits very well. But now let me talk about the soccer match Germany vs. France that did end with a 0:2. France did shoot Germany out, and from a German perspective the whole match was quite painful to watch. Seriously Schweinsteiger, can you please put down your hands next time you standing in the penalty area? It was so … Continue reading Euro 2016: Germany vs. France 0:2

Euro 2016: Germany vs. Italy 6:5 On Penalties

I watched the Euro 2016 match Germany vs. Italy today. It was a bit suspense packed because Italy is a much stronger opponent for Germany. In the first half Germany got ball possession most of the time but there were not a lot of dangerous moment from both teams. The second half became a little bit more interesting, it was a back and forth for a while but then in minute 65 Mario Gomez passed the ball from the left to Mesut Özil, he stand 6 meters away from the goalkeeper and shoot the goal for Germany. Minute 77, Jérôme … Continue reading Euro 2016: Germany vs. Italy 6:5 On Penalties

Euro 2016: Germany vs. Slovakia 3:0

Another chance to upload a photo of a German flag, I watched soccer today and Germany won against Slovakia with a 3:0. Germany played very well, apart from the three goals I was again amazed about the passing accuracy. Germany played pretty aggressive and modern soccer, it’s really fun to watch them play. Slovakia was rather disappointing, I was a bit more afraid before the match that we could be kicked out, but they had absolutely no chance, Germany dominated the match. Now that we will play in the quarter-final, the difficulty will increase for Germany but I am still … Continue reading Euro 2016: Germany vs. Slovakia 3:0
