Another Cat Photo

I think it’s cat week here on my blog, that’s at least what you could think after I challenged myself to get more cat photos for my blog. As I mentioned, I was strolling through the garden areas as there is a good chance to find outdoor cats and stray cats. It’s not always possible to find them but there is a good chance I will. Shyna Portrait

Today I shot a photo of my cat Shyna with my Tamron 70-300 lens. It’s usually the lens that I use when I try to take photos of birds outside, but I noticed several times that it also can be very well used to take portraits. My cat did sleep in her small basket and I thought it would make a great photo, but she noticed it and woke up, but I like the photo anyway. Bored Kitty

Here is a photo of my cat Shyna again. She is quite bored this weeks since I can not play a lot with her due to my strain. But I tried to follow her and shot a photo in the floor, you really see her boredom. The boredom makes her unhappy, and at the moment she is grumpy and up for nonsense. I was bored too and loaded the image up in Lightroom and tried the free Nik Filter Collection. Tired Kitty

Life is so much better if you don’t have to wear a lampshade, that’s what Shyna probably thought when I removed it from her neck. But she did a good job, because she became used to the lampshade quickly, as same as she was ok with the daily rituals of applying an ointment to her wound. Tuxedo Beauty

I always like to take photos with my cat, and I think the one I show you with this post is really cool as it is basically a close-up portrait. She likes to hop on chairs, and I have this kitchen chair where she can go all crazy, because it’s just an old one, the fabric is very solid and everything else is metal anyway.
