Battlefield 4 Login and Connectivity Issues Still Going On….
A lot of Battlefield 4 players experience login and connectivity issues since days. The Battlefield 4 statistics engine was down for some time the other days and it seems that the problem returns again.
There are rumors that a hacker group called DERP or Derp Trolling bombards the Battlefield 4 infrastructure and the infrastructures of other game networks with requests. That is a procedure know as Denial-of-service attack and can bring whole networks to halt if done with a huge amount of requests. It is not officially confirmed by EA and DICE, if the mentioned group really attacks the Battlefield 4 infastructure or if this is the reason for all the login, connectivity and statistics engine issues.
The DICE forum moderators and supporters wrote a few times in several thread that they are working on to resolve the issues…
We are working to resolve the login/connectivity issues affecting EA gamers. Thank you for your patience as we work to get you back into the game.
It should be understandable if many players lose patience and that is actually the case. Battlefield 4 is known for a very rough release. The game is until today
still accompanied by many problems.
It´s worth to mention that the DICE moderators constantly close forum topics where players point to several problems. If this can be seen as customer friendliness, that´s your decision. If you ask me, it could be seen as a very naive and bad attitude. But how do you say? You live freely if you haven’t a reputation to lose. Right? It´s sad that it counts not only for Electronic Arts but now logically also for the development teams who work for EA. If I think about DICE, the whole situation is a little bit pathetic.
Battlefield 4 is really a bad case. Pitiful.
