EA and DICE state on the Battlefield 4 blog that they are deploying a server update that should fix a problem known as the “Death Shield Bug” where an invisible shield would appear around killed enemies, blocking weapons fire. Battlefield 4 had a rough start since the release and there were several flaws with the game.

The first-person shooter was released on October 29, 2013 and until today players mention that there are still several issues. However, even if it took time, it´s noticeable that EA and DICE increase the tempo to eliminate all the problems, as some players recognized. The game had potential from the day on when the game was released but the technical issues did annoy many players.

If the “Death Shield Issue” will now be completely corrected, that remains to be seen.
