You Can Get The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection For Free…

Electronic Arts, the publisher of The Sims, announced on one of their blogs that you can grab The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free until July 31st, 2014 at 10AM PDT. So if you grab it for free before this date, you can keep this game forever. They explained very well how you can grab it for free to add it to your library:

1. Start by downloading and installing Origin. If you already have Origin you can skip to step 3.
2. Not an Origin member? Create a free Origin Account to get in the game.
3. Launch Origin and log into your Origin Account.
4. From the ‘Games’ tab in the Origin menu, select ‘Redeem Product Code’ and enter the code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS

This is all you need to do to grab this game for free and to keep it forever, if you are not to late to read this news!

  1. I’ll check that out Dennis. I wouldn’t call myself a gamer but I do like The Sims. I sold off my Sims 2 when I got Sims 3 but there are some features on the game that Sims 3 doesn’t have that I missed. If I can get it I might put it on my laptop. See, bringing your tech posts back here has been useful already. 🙂

    1. Also it´s important to note that this is the Ultimate Collection that means it contains all released expansions for Sims 2 in addition to the core game. That are eight expansions that add game content to the main game. So, this is actually Sims 2 and University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time and Apartment Life.
Also including several furniture items, clothing and other items that were released for the game. 🙂

So,… I think too this package might be still worth to play because it contains a lot.
I had to call my half-sister because she is Sims fan too and she was happy about this news.

Hope you will have fun with it. As long as you grab it before the mentioned date is over, it will be in your EA Origin library forever, so that you still can play it anytime in the future.

I´m glad that one of my tech posts were interesting for you 🙂
