If you want to test your hardware with Battlefield Hardline, learn how to display the FPS in-game and check out how you can create a config file for console commands in BFH to store your settings permanently. If you don’t want to waste computer power because you can crank up the game like crazy anyway, check out how to limit the frame rate in BF Hardline.
Just tried out the Beta, well, IT IS heavier than BF4 with the same detail level, and in a map where the stuff to be rendered is not comparable in any way with even BF3.
I don’t like the game, this is not a Battlefield serie episode, this is just a mod created to let the fans open theire wallet.
Just my 2 cents 🙂
I am with you at this point. I don’t like the theme anyhow. Played most BF games, but that was more warfare style and not about criminals and cops 🙂 However, I post related news anyway to my blog since it became something like a tradition to write about BF here. But I agree, I check out the beta but I won’t buy the game, this is not my theme and I am not interested either.
You made the right thing in posting this, i knew this blog when i was searching for some BF4 video setting. Mine above were just my first impressions about the game. The beauty of the serie is the possibility to engage battle in such different ways, and here i can’t find all the possibilities that BF4 gives me now.
BTW: which is your BF4 nick name? 🙂
Haha, that is cool! Thanks for revisiting. Yes, I wrote several posts about BF4 back then. My blog is about all kind of things, but at times also about games as I am interested in gaming as well, if I have time for it. 🙂
I agree with your point. Warfare theme has of course more vehicles and weapons, and that is leading to what you said, more possibilities in the battle and gameplay.
About my Origin and BF4 nick, I could give you the name but I am rarely online anymore. If I am, then usually just to get some screenshots for games I write about but not really to play any long time. If I play games, I either test things out, or I play strategy games most of the time like “Europa Universalis IV” but not on Origin. I am sadly not a very active gamer anymore as other things keep me busy and as there are all kind of other interests like photography. I don’t have BF4 installed anymore as I played it with real life friends when EA released it, but they all don’t play it anymore, so that I uninstalled it too. So, my Origin account is somewhat dead and mostly unused or just for testing. Sorry.
