No Luck With Flying Birds

The photo above is rather experimental, nothing I am proud about. I try to take photos of flying birds, but I had not much luck. The photo above is one of my earliest attempts to freeze a flying bird on a photo. As you can see, the bird is not in focus and way too blurry. Beautiful Daisy

As I mentioned in my recent post, it’s in quite a lot of cases impossible to get close-up shots of flowers with the Nikon 18-105mm kit lens, but that depends of course of the flower size. Walking near the Trave River, I found a daisy that was big enough so that I could focus well and got the shot you can see here in my post. I walked near the Trave River today to see if I find anything interesting, to see if I can take more photos. I took quite a lot of photos but I am not happy with all of them. Talking about flowers now, I noticed that my kit lens really doesn’t do a great job for flower close-up shots, it’s simply not a macro lens. Yawning Cat

I thought to do a photo shooting with Shyna again. I was outside with the camera the whole weekend and it is sunday and shooting photos at home was now the more practical idea. Beautiful Feral Pigeon

Pigeons like to pose for a photo. Ok, I am kidding, most of them are just not afraid to cross the ways of us humans. That is why they are the ideal model for a photographer trying to master the first DSLR camera. They are not hurried, they give you time to take several photos. I like that.
