Fly On The Wall

I shot the image some days ago with my point and shoot camera but I had some luck because the fly on the wall didn´t react well when I came closer with my camera. Not sure what was wrong with this fly because they do usually escape if you are too close and you know what kind of reaction they have. But this fly was very slow maybe ill, so that I was able to take this close-up shot with my digital camera. I like this image anyhow. It´s a good one for my insects photo collection. Grilled Wienerwürstchen

Above you can see a sausage that we call “Wiener Würstchen” here in Germany and I think the English name is “Vienna sausage”. You can eat this sausage raw but usually people boil it and this is tasty too. But even as a German, it was new to me that some Germans do actually grill this sausage. The husband of my mother was born in East Germany and he told me that they usually did grill the “Wiener Würstchen”. Shyna And The New York Yankees Cap

Usually it´s so that my cat Shyna annoys me and not the other way around. For example if I work on the computer, she sometimes bugs me and meows until I give up to work on the computer and spend time with her. I´d say this does not happen always but often! Well, she is very attached to me but over the time she also learned that I can´t keep her busy for 24 hours. Mom´s Birthday And The Family Meet Up

Yesterday on June 12, the whole family celebrated the birthday of my mother. My mom invited us all and she made cake. We call this “Kaffee und Kuchen” in Germany and it means “Coffee and Cake” because that´s what it is about. Meet each other, drinking coffee and eating cake, while it doesn´t mean that you have to drink coffee. Meetings like this one are just called this way here. I´m user on Reddit because I like the way how this social media site works. Users submit content and it can be up or down voted which means only the most popular content or news are shown on top.
