Beautiful Tabby Cat

Here is a photo that I really like. I personally think it’s a nice cat portrait and I started to like it a lot after I added some clarity and sharpness. The detail in the fur is now very apparent, especially when you click on the image to see the larger version. It’s a very beautiful cat in my opinion. I also do like the untrusting or mysterious expression of the eyes. The photo was shot last October and I am not sure why I haven’t uploaded it already. But as I often say, I shoot faster than I can … Continue reading Beautiful Tabby Cat

A Thai Cat

Above is a photo that I shot two weeks ago. Both, the cat and I were surprised when we met each other on a small sandy garden alley. This was on my way out of the garden area but I experienced with photography that the best things can happen on your way back, which is why I suggest to not put your camera into the bag too early (and I think I should follow that suggested more often too). Anyway, in this case I had my camera still in my hands and I got rewarded with a nice photo of … Continue reading A Thai Cat

Tabby In Action

Some days ago I shot some photos of the cat you see at the top. It was friendly enough to let me take some photos. But when I attempted to get a bit closer, it ran away. I pressed the shutter button and took the photo you see here in this post. It was quite unsharp but I managed it to fix it a little bit in Lightroom but it’s still not the sharpest image. Anyway, I like it because it shows a energetic and agile cat. It’s highgly likely that it is the same cat I showed you in … Continue reading Tabby In Action

Relaxed Cat

Ok, I showed you so many other cat photos that I thought it’s time to also mix in a photo of Shyna again. I showed you already a similar photo that I shot the same day but that was edited in black and white. Also, I really can’t delete photos unless they’re really bad or can’t be improved. I sometimes also like to edit some photos differently later on, which is another reason why I never delete photos of the same set or day. I hope you like this photo too, she looks relaxed, doesn’t she? Continue reading Relaxed Cat

Beautiful Tabby Cat

Above is another photo that I shot today. Again, I had a hard time to get close to the cat and I needed to press the shutter button fast. So, I had a bit of luck that I got this photo because this cat disappeared right after I shot the first photo. But I got a second chance later, which is why I have another photo for a future post. I am lucky how the photo turned out even if I had to crop the image heavily. It was a very agile cat and disappeared like a rocket (laugh). But … Continue reading Beautiful Tabby Cat
