Late Summer Barbecue

Today it was family time again. We planned a barbecue in the garden again and this time we were quite a lot of people. It was a barbecue for ten people. I like this, especially when there are also family members that I don’t see that often. Action Dog And Garden Fun

Today we went into the garden again, because it was planned to meet some other family members that we don’t see regularly. It was my grand-aunt, my grand-uncle, my second cousin and her little daughter. My second cousin did not only come with the daughter but also with her dog. Of course, the meeting was with “Kaffee und Kuchen” again, because this is how we network in the family, and it’s probably the equivalent of the British tea time. Finally, Ice Cream Season?

You might be confused when I say that, but it seems that the autumn came to an end today in Northern Germany. I say autumn because we had dark clouds, rain and cold weather for several weeks now and it looked like autumn but definitely not like spring. Today was different, a really nice spring day and I decided to meet my mother and we went through the city and decided to visit an ice cream store that opened now too. Happy New Year!

I always visit my family for an hour before the new year starts, but after that I usually visited friends. Well, this time it was very different.
