Cobblestone Street in Lübeck

Here is a photo that I shot some weeks ago when I also took the other street photo and another nice photo of Lübeck. The photo I show you in my current post was shot with 30 seconds shutter speed with a tripod. We have some interesting narrow alleys in Lübeck. I have some similar photos that I didn’t upload yet, but as always I will do this over time. Continue reading Cobblestone Street in Lübeck

Lübeck In The Evening

Ok, I finally did it. Today I wondered again why I purchases a quite decent tripod back then, when I never really used it. I got headache inside because of the heating air in my apartment, the best way to get ill, and thought it would be better to get out there to take a deep breath of fresh autumn air. I just didn’t know what I could do outside, and as said, my tripod came into my mind. I thought I should finally go out there to try night photography with my tripod. It was a bit wet outside, … Continue reading Lübeck In The Evening

Black And White Landscape Photo

I wanted to share this photo even if it’s just a black and white landscape photo. However, liked it how the image composition turned out when I played with the cropping tool in Lightroom. It’s not a very special image, it’s just the composition that I like with the tree on the left side. Also the image shows the very typical North German landscape. Everything is flat here, and except for small bushes, rivers, the sea and small forests, we do have many fields in Schleswig Holstein. Continue reading Black And White Landscape Photo

Forest Path

If you’re regular reader of my blog, you might have noticed that I like to take pictures of paths. I am not exactly sure why, but I do like some ways so much that I just take the picture. I think it’s also about the landscape on the left and on the right, or the weather conditions that can make a scene look interesting. The photo in this post was taken last December during a hike through a small forest in Reinfeld. Continue reading Forest Path

Reinfeld Landscape

Here is a photo that I shot in May when I still was in Reinfeld. The photo should show how beautiful the landscape is there. The photo should also explain why I loved my hikes there. It’s very common to hear that people from Lübeck say that there is nothing to see in Reinfeld. The town is so small that there is indeed not much to see, but that is only true if you don’t get out of your comfort zone. This place is an absolute insider tip, the town is not too special but everything around it is. You … Continue reading Reinfeld Landscape

The Hiking Dream

Today I hiked with a friend together along one of our local rivers. I didn’t have my camera with me this time, and that was really bad because we spotted some grey herons on our way on the other side of the river, and it would have been close enough for my 300mm lens, but that just on a sidenote. I want to talk about something else in this post, we talked about the nature in and around our city and that we certainly have some cool places here in Lübeck, but we both dreamed a bit and asked ourselves … Continue reading The Hiking Dream
