Here is a photo that I shot in May when I still was in Reinfeld. The photo should show how beautiful the landscape is there. The photo should also explain why I loved my hikes there. It’s very common to hear that people from Lübeck say that there is nothing to see in Reinfeld. The town is so small that there is indeed not much to see, but that is only true if you don’t get out of your comfort zone.
This place is an absolute insider tip, the town is not too special but everything around it is. You get my point, it’s the nature, the fields, the ponds, the small forests, the whole landscape. Even the people there are very special, much more friendly compared to people in the city. Yes, Northern Germany can be quite beautiful, I remember when I talked about this with a farmer.
