Boredom, A Beach Photo And Photoshop

Above you can see the results of my boredom. I opened one of my beach photos that I didn´t like and tried to make something out of it with Photoshop. I´m not sure about the result but I was at least able to kill my boredom. The photo looks now pretty crazy and maybe it´s overdone but it looks still better compared to the original… The original photo was taken in Travemünde on the Baltic Sea near Lübeck. The Recolored Mini Plate With Potatoes, Beans And Bacon

One thing that I love about Photoshop, is that I can color things with the tool. I really love this activity and I sometimes do this when I am bored. The results are not always perfect but it´s really funny and entertaining and I am not exactly sure why. I think it´s because it´s interesting to see how things appear in different colors and it is also fun to boost or brighten colors. I think that´s what I like about it. Here is one photo I boosted or recolored today… The original photo is this one… I didn´t like the … Continue reading The Recolored Mini Plate With Potatoes, Beans And Bacon

Red-eyed Cat Shyna

Above you can see an image I shot of my cat Shyna. The lighting conditions were perfect as I mentioned earlier in my other article, so that even my cheap digital camera did do a good job. It´s impressive what this cheap digital camera and smartphones can do if all conditions are ok. You´re right, I edited the photo a little bit with Photoshop. I colored her eyes red and I have darken the background a little bit more and I also made adjustments with the shadows and highlights of the image. Here is another version without red eyes… The … Continue reading Red-eyed Cat Shyna

There Is Something Possible With A 60 Dollar Camera And Photoshop

Today I was in the mood to experiment with my cheap 60 Dollar camera and decided to visit an art supply store as I wanted to find black and white paper. The reason is that I wanted to experiment with backgrounds, or let me say I wanted to use the paper as my photo background when I take photos of objects for example. I found the paper and went home but not without taking some images outside, but more about this later. You could almost say that springtime starts and the first warm sunbeams are noticeable. It was pretty warm … Continue reading There Is Something Possible With A 60 Dollar Camera And Photoshop

I Made This For A Friend A Decade Ago

No, this article won´t be about the developer called Blizzard. I am just going through my folders and do look for video material, photos or even other creative things I created. I work with 3d applications sometimes, I wouldn´t say that I am expert but I have some basic maybe even intermediate experience with 3d tools. The image above is my work and I created the scene with Cinema 4d a decade ago or so. A friend asked me if I could create an image, for his player name he used in games. His player name or nickname was “Blizzard” … Continue reading I Made This For A Friend A Decade Ago
