Excursion to the Domsee in Ratzeburg


We had a ride yesterday and visited some places in our federal state Schleswig-Holstein. On our tour we also drove to the village called Ratzeburg. This is a small town but surrounded by much nature including several lakes. On the photo above you can see a smaller lake that is called Domsee. You see a small cathedral in the background that is probably the reason why the lake is called “Domsee”, because “Dom” is German and means something like “Church” or “Cathedral” and the ending “see” means “sea” or “lake”. St. Mary’s Church In Lübeck


Above you can see the St. Mary’s Church of Lübeck. I published other posts about this church in the past. In February I posted a picture where you can see St. Mary’s Church from the other side. Beautiful Street in The Historic District of Lübeck


I shot the image above in one of the streets of the historic district of Lübeck. This district is basically the core of the city, the inner-city but I mentioned this often. There are some very beautiful streets. There are for example a lot of beautiful small alleys with cobble streets and plants growing up the houses as you can see on the photo.
