Red-eyed Cat Shyna

Above you can see an image I shot of my cat Shyna. The lighting conditions were perfect as I mentioned earlier in my other article, so that even my cheap digital camera did do a good job. It´s impressive what this cheap digital camera and smartphones can do if all conditions are ok. You´re right, I edited the photo a little bit with Photoshop. I colored her eyes red and I have darken the background a little bit more and I also made adjustments with the shadows and highlights of the image. There Is Something Possible With A 60 Dollar Camera And Photoshop

Today I was in the mood to experiment with my cheap 60 Dollar camera and decided to visit an art supply store as I wanted to find black and white paper. Weekly Photo Challenge: Window

The motto of the latest Weekly Photo Challenge is “Window”. I found some photographs with windows on my hard drive and also some where I look through a window with my lens. It must be some time ago and I guess it was meant to be an experiment at that time. I can remember that I was … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Window

The Photoshop Frog…

A friend posted a funny photo on Facebook. She lives in a basement flat and has one of these deepened basement windows with a grid where rainwater flows in or where smaller leaves can fall in. Around the flat is some nature and she said that she have seen several curious visitors on the window. Well, she was talking about some frogs and said they like to stop by to say “Hello!”. She posted an evidence photo and I had to laugh because the frog looks so cute. The photo was not in best quality but other than that it … Continue reading The Photoshop Frog…

Played with Photoshop… My Cat Has Now Blue Eyes

Sometimes boredom is not too bad. Sometimes it will make you do thinks you didn´t for a long time. In my case it made me play with Photoshop today. I was looking for photos on my computer and found a few not so good photos and wanted to test out what I can do with them in Photoshop. Above you can see a photo of my cat Shyna but I heavily edited the image. So yes, you can say it is a fake image. Much changes of the original image. I did add much contrast. I am not sure why … Continue reading Played with Photoshop… My Cat Has Now Blue Eyes
